I’m Unable to Connect to the Internet (unifi).

Here's how a typical set-up would look like in our homes. Please take some time to locate (A), (B) and (C) before moving on to the troubleshooting steps below.

*The devices and their placements might differ from the example graphic.

A: Power Adapter

B: Broadband Termination Unit (BTU)

C: Residential Gateway (RG)


Below would be the steps for troubleshooting:

Step 1:

Ensure BTU (B) is connected is connected to the supplied power adapter (A)


Step 2:

Ensure BTU (B) Lan Port 1 is connected to RG (C) WAN, securely with an RJ45 cable. Switch on power switch (A).


Step 3:

Ensure the Power LED light BTU (B) and RG (C) is on. If you are still having connection issues, click here.
